Lime splice, florals mid palate, zesty, layers. Crystalline. Balanced with beautiful acidity. Taut, great length. A joyous and incredibly unique wine.

A blend of both the 2020 and 2021 vintages. On the 18th March 2020, Lisanne hand harvested Riesling from the Hope Forest vineyard in the southern end of the Adelaide Hills. The fruit was directly pressed and put into tank for ferment. There was a mere 450 litres. Four days later she flew to France on one of the last flights out of Adelaide as Australia closed down its borders.

Over the subsequent 12 months, Mark & Alicia - Borachio Wines (bloody awesome peeps), kept watch over Lisanne's wines. With such a small volume from 2020 (in addition to it not having gone through malo) they very generously offered to harvest the same Riesling in 2021. The fruit was de-stemmed and spent 5 days on skins. It was then blended with the 2020 at pressing, producing a little over 1300 litres. Racked off lees in November 2021 and bottled in December.
