2021 Bink Mirrors Zinfandel

"100% Clare Valley fruit. Picked at the end of February under a bright blue sky (it was a beautiful day!!) 3/4 destemmend fruit with a 1/4 whole bunch fruit in the fermenter. Pressed to seasoned French oak and bottled in July. Even though the variety is Zinfandel, it tastes more like a structure Pinot or Gamay. Bright and fresh characters in nose with a fluid palate and never-ending after taste. Would work well with any red meat, game and even white meat like chicken or turkey."

Koen Janssens started his wine life working as a Sommelier in Belgium and around Europe. He landed in Sydney in 2012 but it wasn't long before he was called to life in the vineyard in South Australia. Koen worked with legends we all know and love such as Anton from Lucy M, James from Jauma. He started Yetti and the Kokonut with Dave Geyer, but it was old mate Pete Schell from Spinifex who suggested Koen get out on his own, and Bink was born in 2017.
