"Meet LEEONA, our first collaborative wine making project with a small producer in Italy. It all started in a chance meeting with an organic grower in Tuscany, who unexpectedly had some incredible parcels of white varietals - Trebbiano, Grechetto and Malvasia - that are organically grown and certified. We undertook a small trial, individually fermenting these varietals with around 20 days of skin contact. Fine tuning the right blend yielded very pleasing results and so LEEONA was born!

Our vision was to make a gentle skin contact white wine that would be a pleasurable entry point for drinkers new to the style but with enough texture and interest to keep skin lovers pouring it. Our goal was to create an affordable entry price for a well-farmed and respectfully made wine." - Michael
