2019 Tillingham End Grain

Yes, English wine is a thing. A very good thing. Founded by Ben Walgate in 2017, Tillingham is a biodynamic estate home to vineyards, fruit trees, ancient woodland and livestock, dating back to the 13th century. Regenerative farming, minimal intervention winemaking, a dynamic producer to watch.
This is a blend of bacchus, madeleine angevine, ortega and müller-thurgau. Fermentation on skins, a mixture of oak and concrete maturation, all grown and made in East Sussex. Pretty out there stuff, it'll keep you guessing. Lemonade, white peach, elderflower and melon with a twist of spice. Quite refreshing.
