
2014 Pãcina Toscana Rosso





The Pãcina winery is in an ancient convent dating back to the 10th century. The 10 hectares of vineyard belonging to the estate are surrounded by another 15 hectares, divided among olive groves, orchards, vegetable and cereals. Mostly sangiovese with some canaiolo and ciliegiolo. Natural fermentation in cement, six week maceration. Six months elevage in cement, followed by 14 in large oak and no less than 18 in bottle. Black cherry, blood plum, mulberry and black raspberry followed by leather, earth and a little tobacco. Rustic with a wild side. Let it breathe.
